Testing Alerting and Notifications
To ensure proper setup and functionality of your notification settings in Temperstack, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Temperstack Notification and select Application Service.  
- In the Actions column, locate and click on the Bell icon (Test Notification).  
- The bell icon allows you to verify your notification settings by sending a test alert through your configured channels, such as email, Slack, voice and WhatsApp. 
When you receive the test alert, you will be prompted to take one of the following actions:
- Acknowledge: Confirm that you have received and are aware of the alert. 
- Resolve: Indicate that you have addressed and resolved the issue. 
- Escalate: Forward the alert to the On-Call Policies for further action if necessary. 
Note: Notifications will not be resent if a test alert is currently open.
